Tiny Animals Release New Music Video, New Album out April
NYC power-pop trio Tiny Animals have a reputation for leaving folks “head over heels in love.”
Tiny Animals announce the release of the music video for their single Wait For Me, off their sophomore album Our Own Time, releasing April 5 on North Street Records. Directed by Richard Giannotti, animated by Michael Ferraro and his team at CUNY, and with artwork by Casey Matthews, the music video illustrates a new side of Tiny Animals.
“Most people know us for our ridiculous webisodes and funny videos, so we wanted to show another side of our personalities,” says Tiny Animals guitarist and vocalist Chris Howerton. “‘Wait For Me’ is obviously a catchy, upbeat song, but what I think is best about it is the open-ended feeling you get when it ends. Lyrically speaking, the song was intended to create that feeling of infinite longing, and the music matches it perfectly. The last chord leaves you hanging off of a cliff with no resolution, just like the video's images do.”
