Rod Thomas - Same Old Lines

Rod Thomas is a singer/songwriter from London, UK. Thomas has been a regular soundtrack to Londoners as one of the most recognised buskers on the London Underground where he drops his usual electro guise and plays with just his guitar, prompting commuters to text into the London free papers about him, come down to gigs and blog about his music.

On October 6, Thomas will release a brand new single entitled Same Old Lines and is available for pre-order through Rough Trade.

The single is accompanied by a remix version of the single by James Yuill, a brand new b-side Make Myself Desire, and a fantastic video placed together by the team behind Laura Marling, Mystery Jets and Noah & The Whale's videos. Directed by Chris Sweeney, the 70s kids' TV show video sees rod and an army of sock puppets bring the energy of the song to life ending in a massive celebration not unlike the reaction to the song at his festival appearances.
