The Research - The Old Terminal

On October 27, Wakefield indie pop band The Research have set this date to release their new album, The Old Terminal through their new label This Is Fake DIY Records.

Formed in 2003, they released a debut album Breaking Up through At Large Recordings, a subsidiary of EMI in 2006 and gained magnificent reviews from music critics. The trio left the label after the release of the album.


After a period of inactivity, the group reunited and scheduled a comeback and worked with longtime compatriot Jamie Lockhart to release their second album.

The album feature guest vocals from Gary Jarman of The Cribs.

The Research are Russell Searle, Georgia Lashbrook and Sarah Williams.
