Jenny Lewis - Acid Tongue

A songstress, musician, songwriter and actress, LA-born Jenny Lewis is one of the founding members of indie rock band Rilo Kiley. Aside fronting her co-lead band, she also appears solo and has released an album in 2006 with The Watson Twins, entitled Rabbit Fur Coat.

On September 23, Lewis is set to release her second studio album Acid Tongue through Warner Bros. Records.

The album features contributions from friends and family include Elvis Costello, Zooey Deschanel of She & Him, M. Ward, Jason Boesel of Rilo Kiley, Davey Faragher of The Imposters, producer Jason Lader, cellist Ana Lenchantin, Paz Lenchantin, Lewis' boyfriend Johnathan Rice, Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes, Farmer Dave Scher, Lewis' sister Leslie and her father Eddie Gorgan.

Lewis commented on her new album comparing to her previous, "It rocks a little harder." (via Reuters)
