Wheat - White Ink, Black Ink

Boston's indie rock outfit Wheat is about to release their most straightforward and hard-hitting album to date, White Ink, Black Ink, which is set to release on July 21 through The Rebel Group.

"White Ink, Black Ink was the quickest, most fun record we've ever made," says Brendan Harney. "We wanted to focus on keeping the simple human sentiment as pure as possible."

Probably it's the soothing rhythm that sink me in to Wheat's prolific downtempo rock bits, the ambient totally switched to an entire different space, something totally different than the usual things I see. Refreshing, revealing, tremendously stress-free. It's like a replacement for a drug or something.

But our point is, I have not heard something that awesome for the past couple months. I'm definitely sticking to this for at least a year.
