Panda Bear Release Tomboy in April
Founding member of Animal Collective, multi-instrumentalist Noah Lennox plans to release his upcoming fourth solo album Tomboy, under his stage name Panda Bear on April 19 through his own label Paw Tracks.
The follow-up to 2007's Person Pitch, Tomboy will be "a departure from his signature sound on his last album" a Lennox quote. He continued, "I got tired of the severe parameters of using samplers. Thinking about Nirvana and the White Stripes got me into the idea of doing something with a heavy focus on guitar and rhythm."
