Mogwai - Hardcore Will Never Die But You Will
Acclaimed Scottish post rock band Mogwai recently revealed details of their forthcoming seventh studio album titled Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will - set to release on Valentine's Day via Rock Action Records.
The follow-up piece to 2008's highly progressive The Hawk Is Howling, this new album features 10 tracks of melodically infused guitar screams by Stuart Braithwaite and churns of John Cummings' filling effects, carefully crafted to blend in with the masterful beat construction by Martin Bulloch, the rhythmic steamed keys support by Barry Burns and the deep-down to the ground thumpin' bass sound Dominic Aitchison.
On top of the ten tracks, better hunt down the limited edition pack that includes a bonus disc featuring a 26-minute track called The Singing Mountain, specially recorded for an art installation by Douglas Gordon and Olaf Nicolai.
Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will was produced by The Delgados' drummer Paul Savage.
