E-603 - Torn Up

E-603, or Ethan Ward has been an electronic musician since 2002. Creating a nostalgic yet entirely original blend of music out of samples from the past and present E-603 is nothing but a new musician. Using samples from as many as fifteen songs at once E-603 is constructing some of the most elaborate electronic songs today.

After remaining in the underground electronic music scene E-603 emerged into the downloadable market with his first full length album entitled Something For Everyone (2008). This self-released album has received Internet buzz due to its intoxicating composition and the fact that it was released for free. Ethan is proud of being a truly independent musician. Handling everything from booking to answering fan mail totally alone.

Now, Ethan will release his second album entitled Torn Up. The response to the album has been tremendously positive so far. Three days after the album was leaked to the internet, E-603 held three of the top four spots on the Hype Machine's most popular list. Torn Up contains over 280 samples from the past six decades, and also includes some music composed by Ethan himself. The album is 56 minutes long and includes dynamic climbs from smooth soft parts that build into slamming rock bliss.

Over the past two years Ethan has made thousands of people dance their brains out in a loud, hot, and sweaty environment. Playing alongside The Cool Kids, Yo La Tengo, The Hood Internet and more, Ward has traveled all over the United States. E-603's live shows have only gotten more and more intense getting while continuing to keep his "house party" roots and trying to keep the atmosphere as intimate as possible.
