Dirty Pretty Things - Romance At Short Notice

Dirty Pretty Things is a band from London formed by several members of the disbanded indie rock outfit, The Libertines. Fronted by Carl Barât, the band comprise of ex-The Libertines' drummer Gary Powell and guitarist Anthony Rossomando, and former Cooper Temple Clause's Didz Hammond.

On June 30, these brilliant indie rockers are set to release their second full length album entitled Romance At Short Notice, under Mercury Records.

The first single of this album is Tired Of England.

Rei Kawakubo gonna design 6 bags in LV monogram!! AND it will be a fine way to celebrate 30 years since Vuitton open in Tokyo. Which also mean that, it will only be available in Tokyo LV store + DSM London.

Despite the recent tragic death of renowned fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, it has not stop the label from building the brand to a higher level releasing more attractive goods. One nice kick.

If y'all don't know who that is by now, she is the one and only MASIA ONE - Singapore born female rapper from T.O. Canada. Fragment Design x Nike Tennis Classic Auction Show

Remote Control Frequencies - Tempus

Remote Control Frequencies compromise of R-Rock and LG, where it was formed sometime in the late 90s in Chicago.

On June 3, they released a new album entitled Tempus, on R-Rock's own label The Secret Life Of Sound. Tempus is a fusion of hip hop and analog-driven improvisation rock music mashing up with unimaginable overdose of noise effects.

"On a lot of the songs, LG and I would write songs in the studio, using the recording process almost like a member of the band. Sometimes we would record his drums at Stray Dog with me playing keys, and then I would take them home and chop them up and bring them back. Other songs on the record were completely improvised, recorded live in one take. I have a tendency to always to chop everything up and paste it back together, but when you have a group performance it gives you a sense of wanting to be very careful how you tinker with someone else's voice. I think all of these different approaches bring something unique to the record. Hopefully people will get something out of it," a comment by R-Rock adapted from the press release.

Oasis Announced New Single, New Album

English rock band Oasis is set to return with a brand new album entitled Dig Out Your Soul, scheduled to release on October 6, under their own label Big Brother Recordings. The Shock Of The Lightning is announced to be their first single from the album, and will be out in stores on September 29.

This is their first release after last year's Lord Don't Slow Me Down single taken from their rockumentary by the same name.

“I wanted to write music that had a groove; not songs that followed that traditional pattern of verse, chorus and middle eight. I wanted a sound that was more hypnotic; more driving. Songs that would draw you in, in a different way. Songs that you would maybe have to connect to - to feel,” commented Noel.

“If ‘The Shock Of The Lightning’ sounds instant and compelling to you, it’s because it was written dead fast. And recorded dead fast. ‘The Shock of The Lightning’ basically is the demo. And it has retained its energy. And there’s a lot to be said for that, I think. The first time you record something is always the best,” he added. (comments adapted from their official site.)
