Uniqlo's UT Store in Tokyo!

Uniqlo, casual clothing label in Japan will set to launch its new store chain in Harajuku. The launch of Universal Time Store (a fucking annoying, yet fucking cool website! a must look!!) sees a unique method to purchase a shirt from a store. Instead of the old-fashioned pick-try-pay method, we see UT using the concept of tee-shirts in a nice cylinder packaging selling via vending machines. it's like getting yourself a coke in the streets, but this time, in a fashion store, and a shirt. cool huh? at least something new to try on. the official date of opening is april 28, which is coming pretty near, at 6-10-8 Jingumae. expect to see collaborations done with Pantone, National Art Museum and photographer Terry Richardson.

p/s: in case you missed the news, Uniqlo opened a 36,000 sq ft. global flagship store in downtown Manhattan end of last year. i know it's old, just in case u missed it. you can read it here.
