Snow Patrol Set for Fifth Album?

Scottish alternative rockers Snow Patrol is believed to have a new album coming right up this fall/winter 2008. Alleged the title to be One Hundred Million Suns, this will be their fifth album up to date with Polydor Records/A&M Records.

Not much has been unveiled, however drummer Jonny Quinn revealed partial details about the new album in an interview previously. "It's still very much melody-based, but it's different too in ways from the other albums. It's hard to know what everyone will make of it but we're happy. I'd go as far as to say I think it's our best album yet," he said. "The pressure had been on to deliver a spectacular new album.......the band are delighted with the result." He also added that the band prefers to release the album before going on tour.

The band is also shooting a new video too, as there were several notes calling in entries to participate in their shooting process, as extras, I guess. Take a good read on their MySpace if you're interested.

We will reveal more once we get to know more. Stay in touch.

***in case you missed out our previous entries, you probably wanna check out SP's lead singer Gary Lightbody's other projects which include supergroup The Reindeer Section, The Cake Sale and Listen...Tanks!. Equally as dope as SP, some might even be better than you think it is.***
