San Francisco's The Alps Pops III

The Alps, a trio from San Francisco that makes incredibly terrifying tunes, we boldly declare they are rhythmically tasty, flooded with tangible spacey effects, flashy reverb riffs and sparkling percussion.

Don't be mistaken with the indie rock band from UK sharing the same name, cos' we did that error earlier, but after searching thru further, we figured out it's two different bands.

The SF-based supergroup consists of members from three different bands - Jefre Cantu-Ledesma of Tarentel, ex-Tussle mate Alexis Georgopoulos, and Scott Hewicker of Troll.

The three combined their skills and influences to a fresh perceptive, inspiring psychedelic tune.

III,
is the band's third effort, also their first studio-recorded album set to release on October 14 through Type Records. It basically sounds like a score for a dark, spiritual film, imagine something you might be afraid of like zombies and vampires and ghosts craving to tear you apart in the 120-minute film backed by The Alps' music.

A piece that might not be widely accepted to the majority, but to a minority of those specializing on instrumental shoegazing rhymes, this is the one for you.
