Mocca - Colours

Colours is the title of the latest album by Indonesia's indie pop jazz band, Mocca. Released in 2007, this is the quartet's third full album.

“This is a highlight of Mocca’s musical journey up to now. It’s quite colourful. There are stories about Mocca’s relationship with Indonesia, it’s local scene, the fans or the relationship among the band’s personels” says Riko, “The lyrics in this album represents excitements, disappointments, confusions, anger, jealousy, cynicism, and happiness. So people could openly interpret the meanings of each lyrics.” (cited from here.)

The Best Thing In The World is a great song, in fact, one toe dancin' groove. It sounds like a lot of fun mixing with a little more fun, a downpouring of happiness and joy. Hyperballad is another song to check out.

Despite Arina's contribution to the band with her impressive melodic voice, it's never been easy to not pay attention to a gorgeous girl fronting a band.

A rather fascinating packaging were used, seemingly looks just like a coloring pencil case.

Mocca will be performing a series of shows in Malaysia from August 12 to August 17, so if you wanna check them out live, you can get the details on our sidebar on the right.
