Bark Bark Bark Joins Tour with Yea Big + Kid Static and The Mae Shi, "Big Bark Shi Kid" Tour

Bark Bark Bark is a musical project formed by Jacob A. Cooper, who recently joined experimental act The Mae Shi as their latest addition of members, and has already appeared live onstage with the band for numerous shows.

We find BBB a rather interesting musical project due to their massive range of genres applied to their music, particularly mainly from the likes of electronica and indie rock, a slight touch on post rock and avant garde. Basically, you may indulge in BBB's stuffs if you coincidently have affairs with multiple genres.

BBB have released several EPs and his debut album Haunts was released on May 2007. We're kinda expecting a new record to be released sometime this year due to some reports found on the net.

BBB will go on tour with Yea Big + Kid Static and his band The Mae Shi this coming August. By any chance you're around these particular areas, do swing by the Big Bark Shi Kid Tour on the following dates:-

Charli XCX - !Francheskaar!

English indie electro's Charli XCX is more than delighted to release her first single entitled !Francheskaar!, on August 18 through Orgy Records.

Encompassing everything from indie to new rave to electro-pop, !Francheskaar! shows off Charli XCX’s talents as both vocalist and musician – having written, performed and sung all tracks Charli XCX is someone that knows what she wants and is relishing the opportunity to get it.


!Francheskaar! includes remixes by Tapedeck (who have also worked with Kate Nash, Klaxons and Jack Penate’ – amongst others). Two remixes by Mr Black and an astounding anthem by Lil’ D.

With a love for all things Justice, Crystal Castles, Frankmusik and Uffie, Charli XCX actually unofficially started her singing career when she won a talent contest on a cruise-liner aged 4 and has been writing and performing more or less ever since.

Super XX Man - Volume XII: There'll Be Diamonds

Musician Scott Garred was a member of a trio indie pop band Silver Scooter in Texas back in the mid-90s. During his days with the band, he begun Super XX Man as his solo side musical project and has released several home recorded cassettes. As time goes by, Garred has now evolved this solo project to his very own bonafide band, now comprise of his wife Michelle, Ali Wesley, Kelly Dachtler, Josh Woods and Bob Ham.

On October 21, the band will release their twelfth Volume XII: There'll Be Diamonds, through Tender Loving Empire.

A quote by Garrerd on this album, "my most sonically ambitious album to date."

Songs are marked by washes of feedback, dark atmospherics and pointillist lyrics that chronicle the lives of the people Garred works with at the Oregon State Hospital, the oldest psychiatric institution in his home state.

It's a pronounced shift in focus for Garred who has used the other volumes in his ever-growing discography to sing about friends and family, love and loss. Garred is as much a storyteller on this album as he is an empathizer reiterating how people cope with life at the State Hospital. On Volume XII, Garred sings about a woman who plays guitar until her fingers bleed, a man so lonely he only wants to go to parties and meet girls, and the 'guilty except for insanity' person strolling down a corridor wearing his new state-issued sweats. The album's closer, "Cautious like a Panther," has this same person strutting his stuff down any trendy thoroughfare in Portland.

Robert Geller Fall 2008 - Leather Backpack

Spotted this leather backpack by Robert Geller, although the style and design is madly sick and awesome, the price for this product obviously would give a major heart attack to those whose not conscious about the ongoings in the fashion industry. However, at the price of $1607, I'm sure we can find something else more favorable, but, giving credits to the design is a must. Via Blackbird.

CLUTCH To Release First Ever Live DVD+CD, Full Fathom Five

Maryland rockers CLUTCH are proud to announce their first-ever live DVD, FULL FATHOM FIVE, Video Field Recordings, which is set for release on August 12. CLUTCH will also release a live companion CD, entitled FULL FATHOM FIVE, Audio Field Recordings. All tracks on the DVD and CD were recorded & filmed in late 2007 and early 2008 in New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Denver and Australia.

The FULL FATHOM FIVE, Video Field Recordings DVD features 20 songs PLUS bonus features, and the audio CD contains 15 songs. Texan Book of the Dead is the first single and video to be released.

Weathermaker Music and CLUTCH will team up with MERCH.COM for the August 12th release of the FULL FATHOM FIVE DVD and CD. MERCH.COM and all CLUTCH-related web sites will have excusive rights to all mail-order products involving FULL FATHOM FIVE. The band will also be selling these items on the road and in certain retail locations.

IVSK8 Fall 2008 Collection

IVSK8 is a new project by Gravis, developed to create their first ever performance skateboarding footwear for skate athletes. The brand will see a collaboration with deck master Arto Saari to create the first product, the Viking Hi LX Ltd.

Puma teamed up with English fashion designer Alexander McQueen and created a series of footwear.

The Spine Mid Velcro features a spine moulded translucent outer sole and elongated, yet athletic last. The shoe is constructed from a heavy grain velvety leather with rich leather collar and lining.
