What we have here isn't something hot and fresh from oven, yet, it has been around since 2003, but wasn't really much exposed to mainstream. This guy has been touring around with instrumental rock Explosions In The Sky, even collaborated a remix version of their song, So Long, Lonesome featured in their bonus cd.

Matthew Cooper, better known as his moniker on stage, Eluvium, is an ambient composer (like the ones u heard from those sad and depressed scenes in movies). His music are mostly experimental - shoegazing sync effects blending with slow-pace piano melodies, without using any other instruments, the music still sound awesome.

His new album, Copia, will be officially release next week. You can get samples from his official site.

SGK verdict: if you love peaceful music for a calm and soothing moment with yourself, this is the right choice that would not make you fall asleep so quickly that you barely finish the first song.

SGK ratings: 7.2/10
