Sigur Rós New Single Gobbledigook Out Now!

Late 2007, they released the double-disc compilation album Hvarf-Heim. This coming June 23, Iceland's finest post rock band Sigur Rós have marked down their calendars to release their upcoming fifth album entitled Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust (english translation: With a Buzz in Our Ears We Play Endlessly).

The band released their first single Gobbledigook as a free download in their website, accompanied by a music video packed with 95% explicit contents, the remaining 5% is for the nature.

This album is the first album to feature a song sang in English by Jónsi.

Just by listening to Gobbledigook, I have a very strong anxiety on the outcome of this new album. It's not like the old Sigur Rós I know of, at least from the last album I heard. However, no final conclusion before listening to the whole piece. So, we'll wait and see.
