Fleet Foxes

Fleet Foxes is a quintet band from Seattle. On June 3, the band will be releasing a self-titled debut album released under Sub Pop. The band described their music as "baroque harmonic pop jams". So far, they have been highly praised by numerous medias on their EP, Sun Giant.

70s inspired folk mashing up with electrifying leads and harmonic echoic vocals, it just can't get better with such perfect blend. 21-year old songwriter Robin Pecknold surely impressed me of his talented capabilities to compose such incredible music with fellow bandmates.

"Drawing influence from the traditions of folk music, pop, choral music and gospel, sacred harp singing, West Coast music, traditional music from Ireland to Japan, film scores, and their NW peers, Fleet Foxes ranges in subject matter from the natural world and familial bonds to bygone loves and stone cold graves." - Sub Pop

“All we strove for with this record was to make something that was an honest reflection of who we are, citizens of the western United States who love all kinds of music and above all else love singing,” a comment by Pecknold.
