MTV x Nike Fundraising Partnership Fight Against HIV and AIDS

MTV and Nike partnered up to launch a global online celebrity auction as an effort to raise money for HIV and AIDS education and prevention campaigns. On December 6 at 2.00am (Malaysian time), MTV and Nike will launch www.ebay.com/mtv_nike, where the public can start contributing by bidding the NIKEiD footwear designed or autographed by some of the greatest celebrities worldwide.

The auction will last for seven days and all money raised will proceed to MTV's Staying Alive Foundation. The launch takes place at NikeTown in Oxford Circus, London on the same day.

Two pairs of each designed and customized by artists including Snoop Dogg, Craig David, Shaggy, Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat Dolls and Kelly Rowland will only be made. One to the artist themselves, and the other one to the bidder themselves.

In addition, Nike have produced limited edition pairs of Staying Alive branded Dunk Low, also signed and available for auction by Snoop Dogg, Foo Fighters, Wyclef Jean, Rza from Wu Tang Clan and Will.i.am from The Black Eyed Peas, amongst others. To find out more, read the press release here.
