Boris and Merzbow - Rock Dream

Rock Dream is a collaborative live album by Japanese Merzbow and Boris. The album features two disc of live materials from their previous show entitled "Boris with Merzbow Oneman" in 2006.

Merzbow is an extreme experimental music project created by noisemaker Masami Akita in Tokyo in 1979. His recognition for being one of the earliest musician to discover the "Japanese Noise Scene". He has released over 300 albums since 1979, including some on its own as well as collaborations with other bands and musicians in the world. A high prolific man that has played a big part to the noise music industry.

Boris is a Japanese drone noise and ambient psychedelic rock band. The trio has been working with Merzbow since 2002's release Megatone until today's Rock Dream.

sgk verdict:- give yourself a try if you're new to this genre. basically, i haven't listen to it yet, but, i'm sure to discover it when i get my hands on it. there are many recordings available via Youtube if you're interested.
