Beirut - The Flying Club Cup

The Flying Club Cup is the second full length album by Beirut (Zach Condon), and will be release in a couple of days.

Beirut's first critically-acclaimed release Gulag Orkestar won him a recognition for Best Album of 2006 by indie record store Rough Trade.

This round, he did something pretty much different from the previous, from balkan folk to French-influenced music from the sound to lyrical directions.

La Blogothèque
did a film on the album shot in Brooklyn, and The Take Away Shows did short-films for every single track from the album. I'm not sure it's the official music video for each song, but you can view them at The Flying Club Cup official dedicated site.

Here's the first one as a starter to Beirut's folkish marching band style. This is Nantes.
