Andrew Bird's Armchair Apocrypha

Another priority recommendation from us will be Andrew Bird's Armchair Apocrypha album, released earlier this year. This is his tenth, also the first studio album aside from his other releases previously. Some of the tracks from this album are improvised versions of his older tracks from his previous albums.

He's got great vocals, mildly mellow, at the same time, the energy voice strikes the tympanic membrane with fine tunes causing it irritation-free. At times it catches your spirit and floats along with it as the music runs on your player - notable songs that send you high up the sky; the saddened laidback Armchairs, beat-ridden catchy chorus feet tappin' Fiery Crash, and the leg draggin' instrumental electronic track Yawny At The Apocalypse.

If you like Sufjan Stevens, M. Ward, Beirut or The Decemberists, you can consider getting this album too.

This is Bird performing Plasticities on the Letterman show.

The next one is the music video of Imitosis directed by Britta Johnson.

SGK verdict: 8.7/10
