etnies Plus SS07 Collection...

etnies Plus reveal its up and coming SS07 collection recently. with limited quantities produced on the globe, somewhat lesser than 500 pairs per design, has seen only 29 stores available for purchase. just in case you see any of these aside from the list, you might wanna reconsider to get that pair cos' it might be a fake. adding on, the shoes are tagged with numbers.

this new collection was done by artists jon perello and parra. some of the products featured unusual, rare fabrics, hand-stitched and embroidered details, has created its very own niche amongst the footwear industry.

you might love some electronic music?

Add N to (X) - Avant Hard (1999)
if you're into discovering new stuffs and hoping to get something rare that hardly people will listen to, Avant Hard is the right album for you. grinding effects, icy marshal drumbeats, it's just fantastic.

Thom Yorke - Spitting Feathers EP (2006)
this is an EP released in Japan, consisting 5 B-Sides and 1 video. i'm sure huge fans of Yorke must have this copy. oh, anyway, have you forgotten about The Eraser?

Boards of Canada - Music Has The Right To Children (1998)
one of the best albums during that time, and it's nothing like the other electronic music introduced, this is something milder with slow moving pace-driven beats, nothing like doog doog gad doog doog doog doog gad gad gad doog doog doog...whatever it fucking sound.

Aphex Twin - Drukqs (2001)
a little drum n' bass, a little electronica, a little ambient-groove tunes, this double cd album consists of 30 tracks with different kinds of genre. one of the best albums by Richard James, a.k.a Aphex Twin.

Cat Power........The Greatest

do not mistaken this album as Charlyn "Chan" Marshall's greatest hits album despite the title. The Greatest contains all new songs written by Chan herself, or better known by her stage name, Cat Power. she's a girl with a unique down-tempo voice which makes her special than other female vocalists. well, aside from those bjork or regina spektor's avant-garde vocals, this is the next best thing to listen to if you're in the mood of getting high.

she's the new face for chanel's jewelry line as of october last year. according to designer karl lagerfeld, cat power was the only woman who looks glamorous while smoking. weird?

Classic...

Hip-Hop is dead and they brought it back. From the legends Rakim, Nas, KRS-One, Primo and a legend in making, Kanye West. Listen for yourself, watch for yourself, i need not say more... 21st century hip-hop at its finest.

Linkin Park is back...

BEWARE Linkin Park fans. after a long hiatus (especially waiting for Shinoda's Fort Minor hype to ease off, it's a darn long wait), the nu-metal band is back with their latest piece, Minutes to Midnight, coming pretty soon next month. i'm not really too sure they have released their first single to the commercial radio stations, but, What I've Done does not sound like the previous LP we heard. a strong comeback with a major switch. no more rap from shinoda? that's impossible! i can't get my hands on the album to find out! anyway, you can view the music video in their official site. remember to hit the stores!

we will definitely drop some comments after listening to it. we sure will.

if i just had one wish, i'd rather not be in this world...

why are there such irresponsible adults who dumps their newly born child? why reckless human choose abortion? there are too many obstacles in life and a part of it, it's all caused by human themselves. you can change it. play your role.

introduction to Autechre...

i know it's weird that this post is coming from me cos' i'm not really a big fan of electro, but i gotta admit that Autechre is one fantastic experimental electro duo. Autechre, an english electro duo with Rob Brown and Sean Booth on the line-up, one of the pioneer acts signed under Warp Records, a label known for its electronic music artists. this is their latest album, untilted, the eighth ever since their existence since 1987.

"The eighth album by these OG glitch kingpins is a curious thing..... every succeeding Autechre album has gotten more complex, as if there were Oulipo-style rules system guides the entire practice....... while the music may be composed in a postmodern way, then, it's staunchly modernist in its sharp, subtle honing of minimalist compositional techniques. The contrast between the jagged sounds and the surface and the moaning bass tones will either thrill or bore." - Mike McGonigal
