Sigur Rós Sixth Album To Release in 2010
Icelandic post-rock heroes Sigur Rós announced details on their forthcoming sixth studio album, scheduled to release in 2010, although some prefer it would be later this year. No title has been revealed yet, but it was said that Jónsi Birgisson and his bandmates has completed recording the record.
If you're craving for some Von or Ágætis byrjun waves, you'll be dissapointed, as the band has unveiled the new record will be slower and more ambient compared to their recent two records, 2008's Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust and 2005's Takk... which is still good though, but how can we imagine something even slower than the last two - perhaps a little evolve to Amiina-style?
