Sparklehorse is a rock band led by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mark Linkous, and his drummer/multi-instrumentalist Scott Minor, usually does his recordings in his home studio.
they might be better off known as the guy who did the cover song for pink floyd's wish you were here. wish you were here were done along with backing vocals by radiohead's lead vocal, thom yorke, on the telephone in his hotel room.
up to date, sparklehorse has released four studio albums, with its latest piece, dreamt for light years in the belly of a mountain.
aside from sparklehorse, linkous producing for a couple of artists too, including, Nina Persson and Daniel Johnston.
