Nike Doernbecher Freestyle 2010 Collection
For it's seventh year, Doernbecher Foundation and Nike unveiled six more designs to be released under the Doernbecher Freestyle collection, slated to release on November 26.
This program involves participation by children from the Doernbecher Foundation each year to contribute direction to their dream sneakers, later to be made and sold with all proceedings going to the foundation.
Introduced in 2004, the initiative has provided funding for the hospital to save lives and further facilitate on everything from clinical programs and hospital construction. Up to date, $2.4 million has been raised, thanks to the support from the community.
This year's patient designers come from Doernbecher's cancer, neurosurgery, cardiac surgery and nephorology programs. Featured models include ZM Paul Rodriguez 2.5, Air Force 1 '07 LE, Wmns Free Run+, Air Zenyth, Air Jordan III and Wmns Zoom Vomero+ 5.
