The Last Republic - Parade
Welsh prog rock quintet The Last Republic is set to unveil their stunning debut album Parade, due out on November 1 via Monnowtone Records.
Being the favorites among circle of friends weren't just the right portion for them, therefore, they took a shot participating The Road To V competition in 2009. Impressively, they bagged home the crown and locked themselves a slot at the V Festival gig, and toured around the UK before entering the studio to record their debut album, working closely with producers Chris Sheldon and Tom Manning.
"Parade is very much the man looking back at the boy. I grew up in a mining town that never really recovered from Thatcher’s reign, so I couldn’t help but observe the system failing many of the people I grew up with. In many ways ‘Parade’ is about the malaise of social degradation and the subversion of morality,” a comment by lead singer Jonnie Owens.
