Alpha Rev - New Morning

Austin's very own alternative rock band Alpha Rev released a new album titled New Morning, their debut LP released under a major label, Hollywood Records.

Over its eleven tracks, the just-out and aptly-titled New Morning – itself a nod to the band’s rebirth-inspired name—searches souls with a bouquet of memorable lyrics, indelible melodies and cinematic musical flourishes. To put it simply, this album is pretty deep stuff! But it’s no wonder, considering McPherson’s fire-and-brimstone upbringing in the church, where he honed his craft, or his years of due paying in rock bands that never quite took off.

The album was recorded at Avatar Studios in New York, and produced by David Kahne, engineered by Joe Barresi and mixed by Michael Brauer.
