Clara May - Hush
Clara May unveiled their new typography-inspired music video featuring the title track from their debut album Hush.
“Hush is a melding of great lyricism and my obsession with typography,” says director Jason Robert Becker of the clip he created for the title song from Chicago duo Clara May’s debut album. “It was really the footage of the band performing that inspired it all. It felt like watching old film of The Velvet Underground.”
Clara May is Tom Silva, a Malaysian-born filmmaker, corporate executive, University of Chicago grad student and writer, and Nicole Sotelo, a Harvard-trained theologian and author, with Phillip Amerson, Chicago producer and leader of hard-rock group, Bitterson. Clara May has dedicated its musical efforts to raising awareness of social issues.
Recorded at Chicago's legendary Rax Trax Studios and mastered by Doug McBride of Gravity Studios (Veruca Salt, The Walkmen), Hush is the debut album by Clara May.
Hush explores themes uncommon in today's indie music world such as identity, racism and ethnic conflicts. As such, Clara May is honored to have you listen to Hush and in keeping with the group's dedication to social consciousness, will dedicate 10% of its profits to charity.

SBTRKT
South London based producer SBTRKT announced his self-titled full-length debut on June 28 via Young Turks.
SBTRKT (pronounced “subtract”) has recently left his imprint on UK music by seamlessly fusing Detroit Techno, Berlin Electro and classic 2-Step into the thriving London Dubstep scene – although this masked man fits comfortably in any category he wishes to occupy. While massively prolific, a minimalist ethos runs through the work and style of SBTRKT, not just in the name but in the precision of the sonics and arrangements. He has done remixes for M.I.A., Modeselektor & Basement Jaxx, and has previously released 2 EPs via Young Turks (Soundboy Shift & Step In Shadows).
While he has had multiple releases in single and EP forms, this is SBTRKT’s first full-length, and about that he says “This release is the culmination of a longer period of constant writing and collaboration, tracks on previous EPs were written as singular pieces. This record is much more of a whole project, more representative of my thoughts and ideas as an artist and each track was completed with the aim to be coherent together.”

At long last, the flamboyant, fantastical, and unfathomable Irrepressibles will release their debut album, Mirror Mirror digitally in America on August 9, followed by a special edition of the album October 25 featuring exclusive remixes from Röyksopp, Hercules & Love Affair and Zero 7 amongst others.
Led by creative lead vocalist Jamie McDermott, the 10-piece performance orchestra has already earned comparisons to early David Bowie, Kate Bush, Anthony & The Johnsons and even Bonzo Dog Do Dah Band.

Bon Iver - Bon Iver
American indie folk group Bon Iver recently released their second full length titled Bon Iver released on Jagjaguwar.
The eponymous album is by far the greatest release they ever presented - filled with soulful characteristics and rich in melodic charms.
Bon Iver is the frozen beast pressing upward from a loosening earth, one ear cocked to the echo of the ghost choir still singing, the other craving the martial call of drums tumbling, of thrum and wheeze. The desolation smoke has dissipated, cut with strips of brass. Celebration will not be denied, the cabinet cannot contain the rattle, there is meat on the bones.
"Bon Iver is often equated with just me," says frontman Justin Vernon, "but you are who surrounds you, and for Bon Iver, Bon Iver I wanted to invite those voices as musical catalysts." Thus on the track "Beth/Rest" and throughout the album, we hear the pedal steel of Greg Leisz, the uniquely layered low end of Colin Stetson's saxophones, the riffing of Mike Lewis' altos and tenors, and the lush horns of C.J. Camerieri. Bon Iver regulars Sean Carey, Mike Noyce and Matt McCaughan contributed vocals, drums and production, Rob Moose helped with arranging and added strings, and fellow members of Volcano Choir, Jim Schoenecker and Tom Wincek provided processing.

Austin, TX hyper-kinetic keyboard/drum duo Zorch unveiled the new video of their song Zut Alore, taken from their demo EP.
Zorch's exceptionally precise and inventive songs often invite comparisons to a wildly different composite of energetic artists such as Lightning Bolt, Dan Deacon, HEALTH, Adebisi Shank and Battles all the way to more psychedelic/pop acts like Flaming Lips, Animal Collective and F*ck Buttons. However, it seems that everyone hears something uniquely new and exciting in their songs.

The One AM Radio 'Sunlight'
LA-based electronica group The One AM Radio announced the new video of the song Sunlight, created by acclaimed director Andrew Huang. Sunlight was taken from the band's new album Heaven Is Attached by a Slender Thread released on Dangerbird Records.

YACHT Release Double Video
Portland’s YACHT released their critically-acclaimed new album, Shangri-La on June 21 through DFA Records.
YACHT have also unveiled their trippy, epic double-video for the first two tracks on the new album, “Utopia” and “Dystopia (Earth is on Fire).” Band member Claire L. Evans explains the inspiration behind the video, which was directed by Rene Daalder:
Rene Daalder has been a hero of ours for a very long time. As an artist, he's had the kind of career we aspire to have: long, genre-oblivious, varied, dotted with experiments and rediscoveries, completely unguided by careerist motivations, brilliant and never limited. He's made a punk-rock musical, a futurist web community, documentaries, strange and visually arresting science fiction films; he's awriter, he's worked with everyone from Russ Meyers to Rem Koolhaas.
It still feels pointedly surreal, but we had the opportunity to work with Rene to make two music videos for Shangri-La: “Utopia” and “Dystopia (The Earth is on Fire).” They're companion pieces -- together they make up a short film straight from the mind of one of our favorite artists of all time.

Digitalism - I Love You Dude
I Love You, Dude, the sophomore album from Digitalism is out on July 5 via V2 / Downtown. The album features 10 tracks, each of which has their own vibrant identity. This is the sound of a band welding dancefloor pugilism onto crafted sonic sculpture. Nike Air Vengeance Vintage
This fall, Nike Sportswear strengthened its' vintage collection by reintroducing a couple of classic silhouettes including the Air Vengeance as seen here. The mixture of suede, mesh, leather and nylon revealed a nice combination and the two colorways compliments it further.
