Late 2007, they released the double-disc compilation album Hvarf-Heim. This coming June 23, Iceland's finest post rock band Sigur Rós have marked down their calendars to release their upcoming fifth album entitled Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust (english translation: With a Buzz in Our Ears We Play Endlessly).

The band released their first single Gobbledigook as a free download in their website, accompanied by a music video packed with 95% explicit contents, the remaining 5% is for the nature.

This album is the first album to feature a song sang in English by Jónsi.

Just by listening to Gobbledigook, I have a very strong anxiety on the outcome of this new album. It's not like the old Sigur Rós I know of, at least from the last album I heard. However, no final conclusion before listening to the whole piece. So, we'll wait and see.

Milkfed x Nike Air Rift

Another slick edition of Nike Air Rift has surfaced and sharing is caring. I guess the full-stops might be hardly getting along with these brilliant collaborations which constantly delivers kick ass goodies for consumers to enjoy. Put it in business terms, marketing strategy.

Nike worked with Japan's Milkfed to produce a shiny-looking Air Rift. It might not go too well with certain tops, but it's sure one additional sneaker you would buy for the sake of flashing it once in a while during girls-in-session. It will be soon available at Essence. More details can be found in there as well.

Pharrell x Domeau & Pérès - Perspective Chair

Pharrell and furniture designer Domeau & Pérès teamed up together and created this uniquely lovely Perspective chair, a design by Pharrell expressing his thoughts and sentimental opinions on the definition of love when a man and woman bonds.

“I had often wondered what it’s like to truly be in love, not lust for once..So I decided not to ask what it was like in someone else’s shoes or what it was like to sit in their seat..I decided to sketch out my own experiment; the perspective chair.” Pharrell commented.

Comes in several different colors, the chair legs seemed like a pair of man legs on the back and a pair of woman's on the front. Only 4 of each colors will be sold.

Domeau & Pérès were in-charged of constructing this to a reality. According to the BBC blog, the Perspective chair will be showcasing at the Emmanuel Perrotin Galerie in Paris along with another chair and a table from October 21 2008 to January 10 2009. Check out the blog for more pictures.

Subcrew x G-Shock

This piece might be among the few things that gets a youth all heat up and craving for, to one extent putting up your good obedient child look on your face trying real hard to persuade your parents to get one for ya, and yea, sometimes it work.

Hong Kong's Subcrew collaborated with G-Shock to produce a timepiece, in conjunction with the celebration of G's 25th year of ticking. One absolute outstanding piece with the large fonts wrapping along the strap. The brands speaks a lot for itself. More info and images can be found via here.
