A more colorful approach, the entire idea of jumbling up colors have been around for quite some time, but not many got them right. We say this one achieved it.

Cake - Showroom of Compassion
American alternative rock band Cake will release a new album after a long gap since 2004's Pressure Chief. The forthcoming album Showroom of Compassion is slated to release on January 11, through Upbeat Records.The album was recorded over the last two and a half years and was produced and engineered by the band themselves at Cake's own solar electric powered studio in Sacramento, CA.
The band's first official video featuring the single Sick of You.
British Sea Power - Valhalla Dancehall
Brighton-based indie rock outfit British Sea Power is set to unveil their fifth record titled Valhalla Dancehall, due out on January 11, through Rough Trade.This forthcoming release is the band's follow up release to 2009's soundtrack album Man of Aran, despite several parties did not consider that as their fourth album. "It was a fun title, but it also had a more serious side. The music we were recording made us want to link ourselves with people who aren't afraid to stand out. Another working title was The Interstellar Sussex Downs - a mix of the near and the far. It's our most ambitious record yet and there's a bit of a party theme - the word 'party' features a few times. Lee Perry and Odin are both there, in Valhalla where the bar stays open for eternity. Four albums in and we're finally learning to enjoy ourselves," a comment by frontman Yan.
The first video from this album features the first single Living is so Easy. Shot in London's Brick Lane, the video was directed by Luke Seomore and Joseph Bull and produced by Hannah Lack and Luke Seomore. It is inspired by iconic French director Henri-Georges Clouzot’s unfinished 1964 film L’Enfer.

Eric & Magill - All Those I Know
The story of Wisconsin's indie outfit Eric & Magill began on June 2007, when Decibully's Ryan Weber packed up and moved to the Republic of Armenia for a year to volunteer as an instructor of audio design. It was in here in this foreign post that in his free time Weber began sketching what would become All Those I Know.
While in Armenia, proximity to Decibully and his other musical partners in Milwaukee became less important. Access to erratic e-mail, in an office that was converted from a metal shipping container, was the only way that he could collaborate with friends back in the States.
During this period, Weber started bouncing ideas off of long time friend and former Camden guitarist Eric Osterman. It was through this process of writing songs over e-mail that spawned the idea of collaborating with everyone Weber knew. Through years of touring and making music, Weber was able to enlist some close friends who happen to be some of the most well respected and acclaimed artists in indie rock to collaborate with.
All Those I Know features collaborations with artists responsible for creating such bands as Shearwater, The Dirty Projectors, Volcano Choir, Joan of Arc, Sufjan Stevens, Maritime and Dashboard Confessional. In addition to these musicians, Osterman and Weber created an Internet Choir comprised of over forty friends singing into their computers from around the world.
All Those I Know is a true testament to the power of technology and the strength of friendships and the shrinking planet. From its colorful and sweeping soundscapes down to its quiet whispers, All Those I Know is an undeniably gorgeous record that will have you captivated from start to finish.

French electronic duo BeatauCue is back to electrify the dancefloor with Disque Oh! their new frenchy electro club single – Out January 10th on Kitsuné!

Backed by DJs from all around the world, the barely 20 year old duo has been far form idle with, amongst other things, a first EP, Cha Cha Cha, out last spring and a remix of Steven Wondrer’s Supersition (covered by Two Door Cinema Club) as the jingle of French daily TV show “Le Grand Journal”!
