Surfwear pioneers Quiksilver teams up with an influential Japanese designer, Takashi Kumagai for a small capsule collection. The capsule will include jackets, shirts, bottoms and polos. We kinda dig the jackets produced in this capsule, definitely dope.

Kumagai is best known for his contributions to Porter. He is one of the most influential person in the design world.

Japan's sneaker boutique Mita Sneakers have generated another brand new excitement for New Balance fans to crave on. Of the various models to pick from, this collaboration gave the MT576S a frantic pimp, a tribute to a hip hop group in Japan called ASTRO.

The MT576S was built on premium leather, suede and nubuck materials. Exclusively available at Mita Sneakers from May 23 onwards.

Designer Against AIDS x H&M 'Fashion Against AIDS' 2009 Collection

The Fashion Against AIDS awareness campaign made it's debut in 2008 and had gathered free-will contributions from worldwide fames including Timbaland, Rihanna, Justice, Good Charlotte, Rufus Wainwright, My Chemical Romance, The Cardigans, Chicks on Speed, among others.

H&M and Designer Against AIDS coalition are teaming up once again for the sequel to 2008's successful fundraising program.

The second Fashion Against AIDS project will feature participation from various parties including Katy Perry, Roisin Murphy, N.E.R.D, Estelle, Yoko Ono, Dita Von Teese, Cyndi Lauper, Tokio Hotel, Yelle, Robyn, Dangerous Muse and Katharine Hamnett.

All garments produced are made of organic cotton. 25% of sales price will go to several organizations which serves the duty to provide full awareness on AIDS and its' preventions.

Howie Day New EP 'Be There' Available Now

American singer-songwriter Howie Day earlier announced the strong intentions to release a new album some time mid 2009 under music label Epic Records.

The said new album will be titled Counting on Me, slated for release on August 25.

An EP has been introduced preceding the launch of the new album, known as Be There EP.

"These 3 songs represent a few moods you'll hear on my new album, and I wanted to give you a little preview of what's to come. The EP features a mellow, string drenched acoustic song we recorded in my home studio entitled "40 Hours", a more up-tempo, fun rock track- "Be There", and a moody atmospheric wonder- (also one of my favorites) "Counting On Me".

Comme des Garçons x Undercover 'Summer Madness' T-Shirts

Visvim SS09 Christo 'Stripe' Collection

It's not a fact we givin', but we ought to feel that the Visvim Christo is the most appealing sandals for 'streetsters' today, one super sought model. With it's bulky design and the extensive comfort, the Visvim Christo is definitely one interesting sandal to wear.

For this Spring/Summer, the Japanese brand released a new collection of Christo, known as the Stripe collection. Not much difference on the usual Christo, just added some stripe to it.

New Balance M575J Limited Editions

New Balance unveiled three limited edition styles of their M575J model. The sportswear brand introduced the off white ostrich skin, the green camo and the yellow camo.

The ostrich white seem a little plain, but we'd always fancied simplicity on our foots. On the other hand, the other two camo versions seem a little too 'wild', seem too graphical, but we're pretty sure it may appeal to some.




Like mentioned earlier, it's strictly limited edition release, so get it quick before it's gone at Atmos.

KLue Urbanscapes Announced 2009 Chapter

One of the most successful surviving lifestyle events in Kuala Lumpur, KLue Urbanscapes returns with a brand new chapter this year.

An event specifically dedicated to anyone especially those music lovers, art fanatics, fashion freaks and party chasers out there who wish for nothing but simply enjoy themselves with a great amount of excitement in a raucous atmosphere.

As fortunate it were, we swung by last year's chapter for some party action, and we had to admit it was one kick-ass event, despite the heavily-congested roads circulating the area. Managed to grab a couple of boozes and flow along with grooves provided by several intriguing local acts, some of which include electro tag team Lapsap, folk master Azmyl Yunor, post rock gems They Will Kill Us All and rock kings One Buck Short. One of the finest famed rock bands on living Earth today, British rock pioneers Oasis has been delivering electrifying massive tunes to the world with over 20 top 10 hit singles and bagged home awards for their brilliant creations.

It was unfortunate to came across a statement posted on the band's MySpace page recently, lead guitarist Noel Gallagher had initiated the band were having 'bad times'. The band is currently engaging on their South America tour.

Converse One Star Ox Japan Exclusive 'Awamori'

Converse Japan unveils a new pair of it's One Star edition, known as the Awamori. As expected, it's made of leather, and features a tiny lining on the lace hole and a matching star logo. Colors of the logo on it's back heel and the tongue spots a different color too.



Definitely one appealing pair. Suggested retail price approximately 17000 yen.
