The late legendary songwriter John Lennon is set to return from the dead to appear in a 30-second charity advertisement.

Granted permission by his widow Yoko Ono to use Lennon's voice and image in the One Laptop Per Child Foundation TV ad, the brilliant minds from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology made a spin-off version to promote the charity approach to supply solar-powered machines to the world's poorest places to gain technology access.

Secret Dakota Ring - Cantarell

LA's indie pop icon Secret Dakota Ring is a solo musical project masterminded by Andy Ross, whose also best known for his roles as the keyboardist, guitarist and vocalist for OK Go.

After four years of patience waiting for this to arrive, Ross finally announced his follow up album to SDR's 2004 debut release Do Not Leave Baggage All the Way. Titled Cantarell, the album features a collection of uniquely crafted pop tunes written by Ross while touring with OK Go.

Released under his co-founded label, Serious Business Records.

Marketed as limited edition products by Levi's Vintage Clothing, they have created a gem to ragged denims. Named as The Journey and The Ragged Point, they reconfigured the 501XX 1966 model to two stylish versions of nasty denims.

The Journey spots various patches, rips and filthy dirt on it, and the Ragged Point rips all over the front and a pinch of paint splatters on it.

Christmas With Weezer

American geek rockers Weezer released a six-track album to commemorate the celebration of Christmas. All tracks are cover versions of some of the finest classic Christmas songs, all transformed to the band's very own interpretation to the songs chosen.

The six tracks are We Wish You A Merry Christmas, O Come All Ye Faithful, O Holy Night, The First Noel, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing and Silent Night.

Reebok Ex-O-Fit Hi SG Strap

Reebok unleashed the Ex-O-Fit Hi SG Strap, a sneaker that somehow look similar to Nike's upcoming Air Yeezy, the pair spotted a couple of times on Kanye West while in public light.

Probably not having the intention to disrupt Nike's sales target achievement for it's most-talked-about Yeezy which will debut in April 2009, however, news has circulate that Reebok's version was released way before Yeezy was born.

But anyhow, the Ex-O-Fit will premiere sometime in February 2009, still earlier than the Nike pair.

A 3-way collabo' between CLOT, Medicom Toy and Levi's to flash some Be@rbricks earlier, and recently spotted some matching Levi's denims. We got two fruity denims inspired by watermelon and strawberry. Cut that shit, you still can't eat those. Bugger off!

Like I just said, inspired by the two fruits mentioned above, these denim comes in really nice washed and distressed look, and of course feature accents resembling the fruit's identity which can be spotted once the bottom is fold up, not to miss out the other detailing on the denim a bit here and there.



Days earlier, a picture of Edison Chen rocking the watermelon version was leaked. Nope, nothing related to that bloody scandal.

I don't find this amusing, but it's rather bold and appealing to a certain group of people who supported that brave man who shoved his shoes at Mr. Bush while in the middle of a press conference in Iraq earlier. When I saw that clip on the news, it was a shocking one indeed.

The Beatles "Can't Buy Me Love" Kubricks

Initially spotted this set a couple weeks back, but the pictures ain't much clearer than the ones we found today.

Titled "Can't Buy Me Love", Silly Thing and Medicom Toys worked on a set of 1000% Kubricks featuring the band members of the legendary lovable English pop stars The Beatles. If you ain't clear who are they, The Beatles include John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison.





Slated for a December 2008 release, these toys resembles each personnel's characteristic features and personalities significantly to the real world. I wonder what Sir Paul would say about this.

Imaginary Foundation for Element Skateboard Decks

Imaginary Foundation has been one of the labels we will consider if we're looking for some brilliant graphic shirts to wear. As of date, they've got a bunch of nice artworks printed on their shirts and mostly all has made us proud.


The creators of IF just made something to match with their apparels. They teamed up with Element Skateboards to produce a series of four graphic print skate decks. Designs are substantially impressive like usual.

Converse x Black Sabbath

I was window shopping at a local shopping mall earlier, and decided to drop by several stores to check out some new arrivals. Came across a dashing pair of kicks, attracted by the significant detailing on it, I decided to go for a closer view.

Only then I realised it's one of the Black Sabbath tribute by Converse! A Jack Purcell hi-top with refined touch such as buckle straps and buttons.

That triggers me to search for more about this and there you go! My main highlight is actually on the Jack Purcell, but at the same time, we show you the rest of the Black Sabbath tribute range.

Sports giant Adidas commissioned fashion designer Jeremy Scott to design a line for the brand, and it's the pleasure to show you a series of footwear he created.

The turnout was perfect. It was outstanding. A super-sized tongue, a detachable super wings, a multi-colored snake texture and a slick robotic chunk, each pair comes with it's own identity and it's looking good.

Undefeated x Converse Poorman's Weapon

Undefeated got together with Converse to produce the Poorman's Weapon. What seems like inspired by the military combat style on black nylon material backed by orange lining.

Other details including the removable velcro chevron and star on the side, branding from both labels on the tongue, and such.

Justice - A Cross The Universe

French electronic music duo Justice has announced the release of a live album and documentary package titled A Cross The Universe, slated for a December 9 release through Atlantic Records.

The live album was recorded during a gig in San Francisco sometime in March 2008. Packaged along with the live album, a documentary film, also recorded within the period, will be provided too.

A great collection to keep for Justice fans.

Active x Taka Hayashi x Vans 'Drop Sneakers Not Bombs' Pack

The make-over by Hayashi has applied sorts of premium leathers and materials to create such wonderful outcome.

OriginalFake x Porter F/W '08 Collection

The latest delivery from the massive collaboration between Porter and OriginalFake to produce several pieces of goods which consists of wallets, tote bag and backpack. You be expecting Kaws' iconic cross eye design on each piece, products are offered in black and design kept clean, except for the backpack.

The backpack is one of the nicest piece spotted from this collaboration. Crooks & Castles x Vans Fremont High

This collaboration was unveiled several months back, and we did a little report on it (click here to read).

Once again, Crooks & Castles and Vans teamed up together to release a Fremont High, styled by the Crooks. Previously the black was released, and now they unleashed the white version.


This pair will be released sometime during Spring 2009.

Probably not as stylish as the black one, however the white has got it's criteria to shine for attractions.

Nike ACG 20th Anniversary Bags

Nike ACG celebrates their 20 years with a set of bags, seems likely contains several backpacks and messenger bags. ACG goods are known to be packed with great features and functions, applying high quality materials such as water-resistant.

Freitag is a company that makes good use of used truck tarp, car seat belts, old bicycle inner tube, and other old scrap materials to produce functional items for our everyday life.

Started off when brothers Markus and Daniel Freitag were in need of a bag that is functional and water-resistant, they tend to get scrap materials and built themselves one. Today, Freitag products are sold all aronud the globe, with more than 40 different products.

Recently, some new batch of products were released. That include a variety of sleeves for iPhone and Macbook Air, sports bags in various sizes, and their roots and what they were known for, functional messenger bags.

Adidas Originals Craftmanship Pack

A while ago, adidas Originals introduced the Craftmanship Sneaker Pack, and several hot models such as the ZX 700 Boat Shoes are among the favorites.

Glasgow rockers Mogwai might be making a stop in Kuala Lumpur after their gig in Hong Kong. Yes, it's Mogwai. Fans of post rockers or rock in general might have waited for this moment to reach for an extremely long time.

The recent past we had breathtaking shows by Dirty Three and Explosions In The Sky, and we were kinda expectin Sigur Ros but it was just a rumor. And now, Mogwai, isn't it just simply a fortune for post-rock lovers?

Not much information has been unveiled, but all we know, it's sometime within January 2009, eventually it's very near to come.

Sneaker Freaker introduced a new range of tees recently and are now available at their online store. The tees released compromise a collabo' tee with Melbourne-based artist Reka One, a few classic pieces and several others. Most of the designs comes in different color tees. Another croc-inspired body of goods by Vans Vault. We've seen several other similar releases by the skate label in the past, probably the response was overwhelming and they have decided to continue with the concept.

Cat Power - Dark End Of The Street

Dark End Of The Street is a six-track EP containing mostly previously unpublished tracks from Cat Power's 2008 album Jukebox. Keeping the routes of Jukebox, this EP features all cover versions of songs originally by The Pogues, James Carr, Sandy Denny, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Otis Redding and Aretha Franklin.

Available in two different formats - digital download and a limited edition double 10" vinyl. Slated for a December 12 release via Matador Records.

Officially launched last month, Italian luxury label Dolce&Gabbana introduced the first One-Of-A-Kind bags for men, that will be released as part of the SS 09 collection.

Each item from this collection is made out of premium materials with crocodile as the main highlight. Based out of the importance of luxury, design and exclusivity, the concept of this collection has made a series of one-off bags for men whose looking for that one thing desire can no longer be felt.

Inside of each bag, an embroidered label stating "A Limited Edition - Number 1 of 1" can be found in it.

This exclusive collection will only be presented during special events, invitation only, in Dolce&Gabbana boutiques worldwide until January 2009.
